![]() ![]() Wow - thanks - yeah Pete seems like a good guy straight shooter type who knows this arena really well. The only way i have found is when starting FSX pull out the controller USB an then put it back in? then it does not disconect in game.somebody must know how to fix this its 2015 you know. I have spoken to pete dawson, ie FSUIPC and he said it wont fix the disconect problem?i was also told that windows 10 would sort it and it has not for me. not too too sad for me personally if i can getr fsx-se and joystick and vr - then i'd be delighted! I have the paid version of FSUIPC - when I saw what the guy made and what it did - it seemed worth grabbing it - and I actually didn't even know what it did beyond making HTR work! LOL - So if you're saying there is more there than an install and forget SDK for add on developres and there is some joystick config utility - there might be serious hope - FSX-SE and VR! Oculus rift! I hope! The boxed version DOES not have a joystick issue, however the boxed version seems to be unsupported sadly now. Originally posted by LeadCatcher:Get FSUIPC - set your controller up through that utility - I do not suffer from your problem but FSUPIC has been the sure for many others and adds much much more if you go with the paid version. If it's DoveTail - I suspect it will be dealt with. I'm tempted to break out the boxed version and see if it happens there - because if it is a microsoft thing, it won't get fixed. Maybe not the same fix as the Windows Too Little Too Late, but definitely narrowed down to FSX problem. The issue - word for word described above happens to me with the exception that sometimes its 30 minutes in, often less - I don't have it figured out - its broken - I've ceased buying fsx stuff - for now - glad i stopped after only a few hundred in add-ons (when i thought all was well - JEEBUS) - bunch here and elsewhere - and if you think its the add-ons i've been fighting with this for days doing the from scratch thing about 4 times already. X-Plane, DCS (cant get Oculus running on that - what is worse - lol) - all my arcady flying games and stuff - not an issue. every game i have doesn't do it but this one. ![]() I thought it was my old logitech, so i grabbed the one the original poster has - the saitek extreme 3d - crappy throttle but the rest is cool - anyways - same problem. I hope these suggestions prove helpful in case you run into similar problems in the future.I have the same exact problem in windows 7 - and I have been fighting with it - and I\ve disabled the usb powersaver thingy i think FSX is messed up, maybe. Lastly, updating your joystick drivers and FSX to their latest versions may help resolve compatibility issues. Be sure to back up the file before deleting, just in case you need to revert any changes. This file is usually located in your %APPDATA%\Microsoft\FSX folder. Check for any conflicting commands in LGS, and remove them if necessary.Īnother possible solution is to delete your FSX.cfg file to restore default settings.Go to the Axis tab, and verify that the throttle axis is assigned correctly.Open LGS and select your Extreme 3D Pro.You can download LGS from the Logitech support page. If the issue persists, it's worth checking the Logitech Gaming Software (LGS) to verify that the joystick's throttle axis is properly configured. Ensure that no other axis or input is assigned to the same control, as this may cause conflicts.Click on the Change Assignment button and confirm that throttle axis is assigned to the correct control.Make sure the Enable Controllers checkbox is selected. In FSX, go to Settings > Controls > Calibration. Here's a rundown of steps to check and adjust settings: In some cases, FSX may have conflicting input settings that interfere with joystick functionality. Although the exact reason behind the issue remains uncertain, I'd like to offer some insights to help you and others who may encounter similar situations. It's great to hear that you were able to resolve the throttle issue with your Logitech Extreme 3D Pro joystick.
